The cosplay shoot: Too Sweet To Be Innocent

Six images built around a single light blue backdrop, shifting from a vivid cyan at the edges to a paler zone in the centre, where the light traces a soft halo behind the figure. Against this cool field stands out a palette dominated by pink: the bobbed wig with its blunt fringe, the wide-mesh fishnet stockings, the platform heels, the beaded bracelets, the chunky bead necklaces. The bunny ears, trimmed with bows and small applied flowers, complete the cosplay reference of the title.

In the first images nanami leans on a stool and on a surface covered with pale fabric, wearing a metallic miniskirt with green and silver reflections and a strappy crossed top. Around her are Easter eggs wrapped in patterned foil, some intact, others already opened, the foil tips splaying like stiff petals. The poses alternate between a compact gathering-in, the body closed on itself and the gaze fixed on the lens, and a wider opening in which the legs seek support on the floor and the weight shifts onto the furniture.

As the series continues the scene simplifies: skirt and top disappear, leaving the stockings, the shoes and the jewellery, and the body stretches out on a reflective surface that catches blue and silver fragments. The tattoos on the back and hip become part of the colour composition, together with silicone objects in graduated tones that echo the same pinks and blues as the rest of the ensemble.

The last two images focus on the figure from behind, still against the blue ground, the head turned and the face in profile. The contrast between the sweetness of the Easter imagery and the explicit nudity remains the load-bearing element of the series, as the title suggests.
