The cosplay shoot: Velma Where Are You?

A bright apartment, with muted walls, light curtains and dark strip parquet, contains a sequence that starts clothed and gradually undresses. In the first images the figure sits on the edge of a low white bed, wearing an oversized orange sweater, knee socks in the same colour, red pumps and thick-rimmed glasses. A headband holds back the dark bob. She holds an open book, her gaze lowered to the pages: attention stays there, and the rest of the room remains in the background, with a framed picture on the wall and a deep blue surface closing off the perspective.

Light almost always comes from large side windows and spreads widely, with a warm veil that softens contours and lightens the edges of the figure. In one frame she stands against a French window, leaning on the glass, the white curtain brushing her shoulder and the balcony railing barely readable outside. The backlight reduces the face to a silhouette and ignites the hair.

The palette stays compact: oranges and reds of the clothing against whites, beiges and wood, with some green from potted plants entering the frame, at times blurred in the foreground until it becomes a smear.

In the following images the glasses, headband and red shoes remain, while the clothing is reduced to white lingerie and sheer stockings. Seated on a small armchair in front of the windows, or standing before a mirrored wardrobe door that returns the frontal reflection of the tattooed back, the figure occupies the space calmly, without seeking the camera.

The last photograph is the tightest: a body lying on unmade sheets, framed close, with the window behind burning out to white and leaving only the tattoo design on the hip legible.
