The cosplay shoot: Lloyd & Yor

The set alternates two presences inhabiting the same nocturnal interior: a dark wooden counter, barely legible bottles in the background, warm lamps left out of focus as small amber points.

In the first image the female figure leans against the bar, her face turned toward the viewer, one hand near a long golden pin running along her cheek. She wears a black dress of straps and bands, with a circular pendant at the centre of the chest and a red earring catching the light. Beside her a glass of red wine, lit from behind, becomes the most saturated point in the frame. The palette stays compressed between black, leather and deep reds, with a few cool reflections on the counter surface.

The two male images shift the tone toward dark green and grey. A blond man in a three-piece suit sits propped against the edge of the bar, cigarette between his fingers, his gaze direct and closed; the background dissolves into shadow and a single golden reflection. In the second portrait he sits on black leather, in waistcoat and white shirt with a burgundy tie, an open book in his hands and his eyes turned aside, as if caught mid-page.

A denser image follows: the female figure lies on a red buttoned sofa, surrounded by roses in the same chromatic register, short black gloves, the banded collar echoing the dress.

Two golden shafts cross the lower corner of the frame.

The last photograph is the most theatrical in its light: cool green and magenta divide the room, red velvet remains in the background with a mirror and a decorated wall. The figure stands at the centre, arms raised to cross two slender blades above her head, the silhouette sharp against the dark ground.
