The cosplay shoot: Yor

The set is divided into two distinct environments, tied together by the same figure: AleRoseBunny in a personal reading of Yor, in a glossy black outfit, long gloves, golden clips in her hair and a long dark fringe cutting across her face at eye level.

In the first part the setting is a pool room. Black shaded lamps hang low over the tables and leave the corners uncovered, while the background stays in a cold half-light, shifted towards blue and grey-green. The green cloth of the tables, the red and white balls in the foreground and the golden cue she holds raised make up a restrained palette, in which the black of the dress and the black of her hair merge almost without a boundary. Her presence occupies the space frontally: she leans against the edge of the table, sits on it, stays at the centre of the room as if the place were hers. Her tattooed arms and the stockings with straps and buckles catch the most light, together with the long reflection along the corset.

The second part changes temperature. Here a warm, diffused red dominates: a dark leather sofa, red cushions and drapes, a lamp lit in the background and a soft light arriving without hard contrasts. Her gaze stays directed at the lens in almost every image, with a steady, barely smiling expression. The golden cues reappear as props, held in her hands or crossed, and the clips in her hair echo the metal. The black boots with thick soles and the tattoos on her legs remain visible among the disorder of the fabrics.

Taken as a whole, the images alternate the coldness of the first block with the warmth of the second, keeping glossy black, gold and pale skin as the only three chromatic references.
