The glamour shoot: Cloty

The set opens in a room dominated by red: dark walls, a scarlet fabric in the background and, in the foreground, the blurred lights of a decorated tree spilling into the edge of the frame as golden and amber circles. The female figure wears red, with a lace detail at the bust and a ribbon in her loose, wavy hair falling over one shoulder. Her gaze stays lowered, the face in three-quarter view, hands gathered in front of the chest in a contained gesture that holds the fabric. The palette is warm and saturated, the reds shifting from cherry to garnet while the lights add points of gold and green.

In the following images the setting widens: gift boxes in pale printed paper, a checked plaid on the floor, a string of lit bulbs piling up in the foreground and filling the lower part of the frame with pinpoint glows. The pose becomes seated and gathered, legs folded to close the silhouette, in a close relationship with the surrounding objects, between a soft red dress and a dark top with lace edges. The gaze alternates between the lens and a sideways drift, while the tree light remains constantly present in the background, out of focus.

The second part changes register. The colour turns to a deep orange that hollows out the room until little more than an outline remains: a figure seen from behind near a bathtub, steam softening the contours, a small round light source punctuating the darkness. Shapes read only as hints, with hair pinned high and arms held close to the body.

The final image reverses the temperature: a shower interior, pale tiles, blue and violet light, a wet white shirt, the gaze turned upward, with the spray head and hose cutting the scene on a diagonal.
