The glamour shoot: Electro Night
Electro Night gathers five images of Cyber in a room dominated by a single colour: a magenta violet that rises from the walls like electric haze and fades towards the floor, where the white of the bed remains the only neutral area. The palette shifts between lilac, cyclamen and cold grey, with a few warmer reflections on the skin and on the wavy hair, which turns from ash blonde to pink depending on how the light strikes it.
The first images are built around the bed: taut sheets, a pale wooden headboard, bedside tables with an unlit lamp and a small switch on the wall. Cyber wears a grey-lilac short-sleeved bodysuit and occupies the space in a stretched, continuous way, resting her whole body on the mattress or sitting upright with a steady gaze towards the lens. The black tattoos on her arms, hip and legs work as graphic lines cutting through the monochrome of the scene.
In the second part of the set a mirror with a thick wooden frame appears, leaning beside a wardrobe with pale panels that the light turns into an opaque violet surface. The figure doubles: in one image the body in the foreground is out of focus while the reflected version is sharp, in another the reflection gives back her back and the bed behind her. One frame is taken almost from the floor, with the legs crossing the composition diagonally and the mirror reduced to a small bright rectangle at the far end of the room.
The atmosphere is that of a closed room at night, with no external references except a hint of shutter behind the glass. The movement is slow, almost suspended: leaning, slight twists, a constant contact with bed, frame and wall. The result is a compact sequence, held together by colour and by the play between real body and reflected body.
