The modeling shoot: Crystal Clear

Crystal Clear brings together two distinct moments, held in place by Crystal's presence in front of the lens and by a consistent use of colour.

In the first part the outfit is a lilac two-piece: a halter top and a long skirt with a deep slit, in a light fabric that stays suspended and translucent against the light. The background is a façade of glass and dark metal, with vertical mullions and grey reflections that echo the outline of the figure; underfoot the pale stone paving slides toward a pool of water that returns the shape upside down. The pose reads as relaxed, with the weight shifted onto one side and the arms, raised, extending the line of the body; the gaze often goes outside the frame. One photograph moves the scene outdoors, with a hedge and trees in rust and ochre tones, a pale sky and a stretch of water filling half the frame, doubling both trees and figure. The palette stays calm: lilac, beige, grey, with the orange of the foliage as the only warm note.

The second part changes register. A blue jacket appears, worn as a dress and cinched by a black leather bustier, along with fishnets, high boots and bracelets; then a black mesh top with shorts, belts, chains and buckled boots. The settings are urban and evening: a passage with metal railings and a wall lit yellow in the distance, a night square where blue and magenta light carve out the contours and leave the background in shadow. The figure occupies the space more directly, seated on a concrete block or standing with hands on the belts, and the gaze almost always returns toward the viewer. The dark hair with lighter streaks remains the recognisable element linking the two blocks.
